Kierrah’s last week
09/06/22Kierrah, our language assistant, is leaving our school on Friday. During this week she prepared an activity for the classes as her farewell present to our school.

Our body systems’ models
17/05/22Today our 5th grade classes presented their system models. We have been working on them for a couple of weeks and students got really creative with their ideas. Students worked in groups of 3-4 to research and then create a model of the digestive, circulatory, muscular, nervous, and respatory system. We saw some amazing examples including a model of the brain, a contracting arm, the path of urine through the body, and even a pumping heart. Great job 5th graders!

Jack and the dinosaurs
10/05/22Today we had a “fun-tastic” visit! A storyteller came to the school and he told us the story of Jack and the dinosaurs. He represented different characters and we helped him with the story. We had so much fun!

Avui hem tingut una visita fantàstica i divertida! Ha vingut un rondallaire a l’escola que ens ha explicat la història d’en Jack i els dinosaures. Ell representava diferents personatges i nosaltres l’hem pogut ajudar amb la història. Ens ho hem passat molt bé!

Playing with words!
28/04/22Kierrah is preparing some activities for us! This week, after working on vocabulary about vegetables, we had been learning how to write the different words while having fun! We also learnt how to pronunce the words properly! We know that English is difficult sometimes because we don’t say all the letters in a word!

La Kierrah ha estat preparant algunes activitats per nosaltres! Aquesta setmana, després de treballar el vocabulari de les verdures, hem estat aprenent com escriure les diferents paraules i al mateix temps ens hem divertit. També hem après com pronunciar correctament les paraules! Sabem que l’anglès pot ser difícil a vegades perquè no pronunciem el so de totes les lletres.

28/04/22We are learning about differents jobs and Kierrah prepared a game for us! We had to choose a topic and discuss about different types of jobs. We learnt some new vocabulary and we had fun!

Experiments in English!
01/04/22This term, during Science Project, we have been doing experiments with plants and organisms. Here you have some pictures of the yeast experiment, where we discover that yeast is a living organism, and the leaves experiment, where we could see how plants breathe.
We had so much fun!
