This year, our school’s English Day was all about discovering Canada! Throughout the term, we have been learning many interesting facts about this beautiful country, its culture, and traditions.
English Day took place over two days: June 9th and 10th, and it was entirely organized by our 5th grade students, who did an amazing job preparing all the activities.
On June 9th, the day was dedicated to Educació infantil and 1st grade students. We “travelled” to Canada using a passport and a boarding pass that we had bought from the 5th graders earlier the previous Monday. Once we arrived, we took part in different challenges and games around the playground and in some classrooms. It was a fun and exciting experience, and we all had a great time!
On June 10th, it was the turn of students from 2nd to 6th grade. They participated in a variety of activities and learned many interesting things about Canada. Everyone really enjoyed the day and had lots of fun while learning English.
It was a fantastic experience for the whole school, full of learning, laughter, and great memories!
We would also like to give a special thank you to our 5th grade students for their great work and effort—they did an excellent job!
Which English-speaking country will we visit next year? Stay tuned to find out!
