Pancake’s Day

The arrival of the Lent is celebrated in the UK eating pancakes. The pancakes are made with eggs, flour and sugar that were forbidden during the Lent. That’s why they used to eat them just 40 days before Easter.

We usually celebrate it with  the 4th graders, but this year we’ve eaten them with the 6th graders too, just to remember old times. THANKS to Marc’s dad who has made them for us.

L’arribada de la Quaresma es celebra al Regne Unit menjant  una mena de tortes.  Estan fetes d’ous, farina i sucre que eren prohibits durant aquesta època de l’any.  Per això es menjaven just abans dels 40 dies que falten per la Pasqua.

Normalment el celebrem a 4t, però aquest any també l’hem celebrat a 6è per a recordar vell temps. GRÀCIES al papà de Marc que s’ha oferit per fer-les un altre cop.

Carnaval CS

Com ja és habitual, els alumnes de 6è han pensat i  han llegit les consignes que hem seguit tots durant la Setmana de Carnaval. I hem acabat amb una rua molt bé amenitzada per les mares de l’AMPA. GRÀCIES MARES!!!

Today we had a very nice day enjoying three wonderful plays in English with Look Out!.

Round and round the garden for P-4, P-5 and 1st graders.

Stone Soup for 2nd and 3rd graders.

The Lemon Thieves for 4th, 5th and 6th graders.

Avui hem tingut un molt bon dia gaudint de tres magnífiques obres de teatre en anglès amb la companyia Look Out!.

This is the tittle of the carol the 6th graders are going to sing in their last year at school. One of the students have represented what this song is about in the best way for him, drawing and colouring the wonderful picture you can see in this photo. You’ll see it  during the Festival, too, and it’s got a surprise. If you can’t come, don’t worry, we’ll upload videos of the permonfances.

Aquest és el títol de la cançó que representaran els alumnes de sisè en el seu últim curs a l’escola. Un dels alumnes ha representat de que va aquesta cançó de la millor manera que sap, dibuixant i pintant el fantastic dibuix que veieu a la foto. El podreu veure també el dia del festival i va amb sorpresa inclosa. Si no podeu venir, no us preocupeu que penjarem els videos de les actuacions.

Castanyada al Cicle Mitjà

Aquí teniu unes fotos de tot el que hem fet per a celebrar la castanyada a l’escola: taller de cuina, degustació de tot el que han fet la resta de compnys, visita a l’exposició de fruits de tardor i una mica de música per acabar el dia.

The 6th graders have decorated some Jack-o-lanterns. Look how scary they are.  HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO EVERYONE!!!!

They’ve memorized and decorated a poem, too. Look what an amazing picture!

Els alumnes de 6è han decorat unes llanternes fetes de carbasses. Mireu quina por que fan.  BONA CASTANYADA A TOTHOM!!!

Ells han memoritzat i decorat un poema, també. Mireu quin dibuix tan espectacular!

CM al Poble Espanyol 2017

Els alumnes del Cicle Mitjà han visitat el Poble Espanyol. Han pogut observar com treballen els artesans del vidre i del cuir. També han realitzat un taller de polseres de cuir, han fet un volt per aquest museu tan especial i han gaudit d’una mica d’esbarjo en uns parcs molt divertits.
