Hosting students from Europe for 20 – 30 days in Batea

Some of our students from ESO are hosting for some weeks students that are from France and Poland. They are staying in our high school in order to learn more about other languages, culture, educational system and methodology, etc. They are really involved in the activities and in the classes. These Erasmus projects grant students to stay in another country and it gives them the opportunity to improve their own skills in real life.

These French and Polish students are active in the activities we carry out. They are also involved in the projects we do outside school. We hope they have a great experience here and that they can learn a lot.

El passat dilluns dia 22 d’abril, l’alumnat de 3r d’ESO de l’IE MdD del Portal vam assistir a Tarragona a l’entrega dels premis Injuè Emprèn. Des del setembre que havíem estat treballant dissenyant uns projectes per fer del nostre centre un espai més accessible i sostenible…i el resultat és que un dels nostres projectes ha resultat guanyador!

Erasmus mobility to Austria

From 7th to 12th April 2024 our students from 3rd year ESO had the chance to travel to Austria to assist to the ECER, one of the biggest events of robotics, held in the biggest highschool in Austria (TGM Vienna) and one of the biggest in Europe. There, they had the chance to learn how to programme and fly drones from scratch. They finally performed a great championship against other experienced teens from other European countries and winning the Judges’ Choice Award for their amazing progress in the programming and flying of the drones. And of course they also had the chance to visit the city centre and the famous zoo and enjoyed a sip of the local city life experience. We had great fun and learned a lot!

   

   

   

DIA MUNDIAL DE L’ACTIVITAT FÍSICA

El dia 6 d’abril es commemora el Dia Mundial de l’Activitat Física amb la intenció de reduir el sedentarisme i promoure hàbits de salut i benestar. Per aquest motiu, el Consell Comarcal ha organitzat una sessió de CrossFit per a l’alumnat de la Comunitat de Joves. Aquesta sessió es va realitzar dimecres dia 3 a la plaça del poble. Al mateix temps, el Consell Esportiu ha gestionat una Trobada Esportiva per a 2n d’ESO de diferents centres educatius.

Amb el lema de la campanya MOU-TE, I VIU FELIÇ, la Secretaria General d’Esport i Activitat Física (SGEAF) i l’Agència de Salut Pública de Catalunya (ASPCAT) volen generar iniciatives compromeses amb la promoció d’hàbits de vida activa, per tota la població, tot seguint les recomanacions de la OMS.

III JORNADA APADRINEM EL NOSTRE PATRIMONI: PINYERES

Divendres dia 15 de març el nostre centre va celebrar la III JORNADA APADRINEM EL NOSTRE PATRIMONI: PINYERES dintre d’un projecte que finalitza enguany i que ha tingut una durada de tres cursos escolars. Amb aquest projecte, s’ha volgut fer valdre un element del patrimoni cultural de Batea, com és Pinyeres i l’Algars.

La jornada d’enguany, ha consistit en una Gimcana pel poble de Batea on ha participat alumnat de la Comunitat de Mitjans, Grans i Joves, tot compartint un matí de jocs i activitats que han estat dissenyades, organitzades i dirigides per alumnat de 3r i 4t d’ESO amb proves tan diverses com el penjat, sopes de lletres, punteria en gots, reptes matemàtics, creació de rimes, recerca de figures geomètriques, ordena la frase, elabora la línia del temps, troba la parella, recerca d’objectes, dianes de punts i endevinalles. Tot allò amb una temàtica comuna, Pinyeres i el seu entorn, l’Algars.

Esperem que tots i totes hàgiu gaudit d’una estona lúdica i d’aprenentatge que ens ajudi a valorar i conviure amb el nostre entorn. Enhorabona a l’alumnat per la feina feta. Bon treball!

Hosting students from Europe

Thanks to Erasmus accreditation we have a lot of opportunities for learning and sharing. We have just hosted some students from Italy who were studying in our school for 20 days.

They are from Taranto, a city in Italy. They have been in the class of 3rd of ESO and they have participated in several activities, they have learnt about culture, traditions, our school system and methodologies, etc.

We hope it was a great experience for them.

 

Short term mobilities in Germany

Thanks to Erasmus Accreditation we are having 3 of our students in Buxtehude, Germany. They are studying in the Gymnasium Buxtehude Süd. They are there during 20 days to learn and improve their language skills. Besides, they are living with a German family so it means they are learning about German life, too.

The objectives are that students improve social skills, languages, knowledge about other cultures and traditions, life in another country, etc. They tell us that the experience is great!

WOW!!

Another year with mobilities to another country thanks to Erasmus Accreditation!!

3 students from our high school have gone to Taranto, Italy, to live with hosting families for about 20 days. They are going to study in Liceo Scientifico G. Battaglini. They are going to attend classes, meet new people, learn from other cultures in Europe, improve their level of English and perhaps they are going to learn some Italian, too.

We hope you have a great time there and that you learn a lot. This will be a great experience for you!

XERRADES EUSES

Aquesta setmana el nostre alumnat ha gaudit de diferents xerrades de l’Escola Universitària de la Salut i l’Esport de les Terres de l’Ebre (EUSES) sobre diferents temes relacionats amb la salut i l’esport.

A 6è han reflexionat sobre els valors que es transmeten a través de la pràctica esportiva. Respecte, superació, motivació, compromís… i molts altres que ens fan créixer com a persones.

A 1r i 2n d’ESO han analitzat aspectes relacionats amb els hàbits esportius i posturals, el que implica prendre consciència sobre la importància de promoure una vida activa i una higiene postural correcta per al manteniment de la nostra salut.

A 3r d’ESO el gènere i l’esport ha estat el tema de debat. Tenim les mateixes oportunitats totes les persones dintre del món esportiu? Quins estereotips perduren i condicionen la pràctica esportiva?

Per últim, 4t d’ESO ha rebut informació de primera mà sobre l’oferta formativa d’aquesta universitat, informació que els pot servir per a la seva orientació acadèmica i professional del futur.

FÒRUM D’ESCOLES VERDES DE LES TERRES DE L’EBRE

Alumnat del nostre centre que forma part o ha format part en cursos anteriors del Green Team de l’Escola Verda ens ha representat en el Fòrum d’Escoles Verdes de secundària i cicles formatius de les Terres de l’Ebre. En aquest espai, alumnat de diferents centres educatius ha pogut compartir actuacions que estan aplicant i funcionant a les seves escoles. L’intercanvi d’idees, experiències i iniciatives ha estat el punt fort d’aquesta trobada. Enhorabona al Green Team i a l’Escola Verda per intentar aconseguir un món més sostenible!!!
