Once more, our students in CM and  CS had the opportunity to attend an English play at the “Escorxador” theatre. This time the play was “Frankenstein” from IPA Productions, a  theatre company with more than 20 years of experience. The show was 100% in English and all the actors are natives or native-equivalent speakers of English.

In order to fully enjoy the play we have been working on it previously at school doing different activities related to parts of the body, functional language asking questions and giving explanations and instructions…, we’ve been playing boardgames and singing the songs too.  And the result was obvious, kids have loved it.

The children enjoyed watching the play and also they had the opportunity of acting on the stage like if they were real actors They did it very well and they all had lots of fun and so did the teachers. “Frankenstein is a doctor of medicine. He has a laboratory where, helped by his assistant, he gives classes of anatomy. He also has a book called How to make a monster. All he needs are a few pieces of body, a brain and a lot of energy.”

Un any més, els nostres alumnes de CM i  CS han tingut l’oportunitat d’assistir a una obra en anglès al teatre de l’Escorxador. Aquesta vegada l’obra era “Frankenstein” d’IPA Productions, una companyia de teatre amb més de 20 anys d’experiència. L’espectacle era 100% en anglès i tots els actors eren nadius.

Per poder gaudir al màxim de l’obra l’hem estat treballant prèviament a l’escola fent diferents activitats relacionades amb les parts del cos, llenguatge funcional fent preguntes i donant explicacions i instruccions…, també hem estat jugant a jocs de taula i cantant les cançons. E

l resultat ha estat obvi, als nens i nenes els ha encantat.

L’alumnat ha gaudit veient l’obra i també han tingut l’oportunitat d’actuar a l’escenari com si fossin autèntics actors. Ho han fet molt bé i tots s’han divertit molt.  “Frankenstein és doctor en medicina. Té un laboratori on, ajudat pel seu assistent, imparteix classes d’anatomia. També té un llibre que es diu: cóm fer un monstre. Tot el que necessita són unes quantes peces de cos, un cervell i molta energia”.

L’obra ha estat excel·lent, tots ens ho hem passat molt bé i esperem amb moltes ganes tornar-hi l’any vinent.
