Joshua has taught about the history and traditions of Thanksgiving. It is something that is often seen in films and series, but the students weren’t very familiar with it other than knowing about the turkey! It is a very important holiday to be with your family, so many people travel across the country to see them if they don’t live in the same place. Americans eat many different kinds of food together and also watch things on TV like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and American football games. Some traditional Thanksgiving foods are turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and many different kinds of pie. For some students, it was a difficult lesson to have right before lunch!
