Erasmus+ days

Every year schools around Europe organise activities for the celebration of the Erasmus+ Days to make Europe shine.

In our school we organised three main activities to celebrate the Erasmus+ Days, students sharing their experience, students and teachers gathered together to sing some ‘garrotins’ and a quiz to learn some curiosities about Europe.

Students from 1st Batxillerat explained their mobility experiences to Alcabideche, Portugal and Goteborg, Sweden, to their mates in 4th ESO. They could show them the places they visited and all the activities they participated in. They long to meet the Portuguese and Swedish partners again.

Everyone in the school was invited to get together at the canteen to sing the Erasmus ‘garrotins’ (a typical improvised oral song from the gypsy tradition in Lleida) which The Erasmus+ team, with the help of some other teachers, had created. They were written in Catalan, English, Italian, French, and German. Two teachers from the school who are very good at playing music, Gerard and Marc, added the guitar and the ‘cajón’ to make the song more vibrant and colourful. We all had a great time singing together.

To round it all off students took a quiz to learn some curiosities about Europe. The student who obtained the maximum score was ABEL GOMEZ from 2nd ESO B. Fantastic job Abel, enjoy your prize.
