The students of 1st of ESO A, B and C have been working together on a project called
SCHOOL RULES SCAVENGER HUNT in the English subject.
First, we created nice posters with 69 school rules and we hanged them around our school, on the ground, first and second floor (only inside the school). Then, we thought of clues to explain where they were using prepositions of place. We also created the posters with the directions and decided the best place to “hide” them. After that, we were ready to play! We created groups. Our teacher dictated 10 numbers to each group. Each number represented a School Rule. Next, we copied and followed the clues to find these School Rules. There was a captain in every group and secretaries. The captain took the photos with his/her mobile phone and the secretaries copied the clues and rules.
We went upstairs and downstairs, turned left, turned, right, went straight ahead, we went past our classrooms, the labs, the caretaker’s, the assembly room, the Science Department….
