Last Monday 6th February, the Oxford speaker Rose Licata visited our school and gave an interactive talk about The History of Rock and Roll. It was held at the gym, where our 4th ESO and CAS students had the chance to improve their listening skills as well as their knowledge about rock & roll. The talk started with a brief comment on the main musical instruments and the origins of Rock & Roll and moved to focus on three big musicians and singers: Elvis Presley, The Beatles and Michael Jackson.

Students were asked to participate actively, answering her rock & roll general knowledge questions and working on song lyrics by the above mentioned singers and bands.

An enjoyable time to learn!
