Today, Tuesday 28 January 2025, is our second day of mobility in France.

Avui, dimarts 28 de gener de 2025, és el nostre segon dia de mobilitat a França.

As soon as we got to school we saw flashes from a camera. This morning it was time to take the group photos of each of the classes. The teacher Marie explained that they take two types of photos: the first has pedagogical content, since within the classroom they were divided by groups of 3 or 4 students and each of these groups represented a historical moment: prehistory, Egypt, the Middle Ages and the French revolution. With these photos a chronological mural would be composed in order to use it in the geography and history classes.

Només arribar a l’escola hem vist flaixos d’una càmera. Aquest matí tocava fer les fotos grupals de cada una de les classes. La mestra Marie ens ha explicat que fan dos tipus de fotos: la primera té contingut pedagògic, ja que dins de l’aula es dividien per grups de 3 o 4 alumnes i cada un d’aquests grups representava un moment històric: la prehistòria, Egipte, l’Edat Mitjana i la revolució francesa. Amb aquestes fotos es composaria un mural cronològic per tal d’utilitzar-ho a les classes de geografia i història. 

Then, we enter the classroom and the teacher maintains a conversation with the students about the development of the day. They plan to go on an excursion to Clermont Castle in the afternoon but, due to the weather, it will not be possible. In the morning, we observe the classroom life where the students work individually in solving mathematical problems and writing a prepared dictation about the Canadian artist Kenojuak Ashevak.

Seguidament, entrem a l’aula i la mestra manté una conversa amb l’alumnat sobre el desenvolupament del dia. Tenen previst anar d’excursió al Castell de Clermont a la tarda però, a causa de la meteorologia, no serà possible. Al matí, observem la vida d’aula on l’alumnat treballa de manera individual en la resolució de problemes matemàtics i l’escriptura d’un dictat preparat sobre l’artista canadenc Kenojuak Ashevak.

After lunch in the town center accompanied by the school photographer, we started classes again at 13:30 h. During the afternoon it has played rehearsal for the choir, where all the students of the school participate together, from the smallest and smallest to the oldest. At that time a very nice and collaborative environment was created, where surely activities like this, favor the cohesion and the feeling of group of the center. Then, once they finished the rehearsal, it was the opportunity for our partner Pau (music teacher). Pau taught a Catalan song and all the students of the school ended up singing it, without a doubt, it was a magical moment.

Després de dinar al centre del poble acompanyats del fotògraf de l’escola, hem tornat a començar les classes a les 13:30 h. Durant les hores de la tarda ha tocat assajar per la coral, on tot l’alumnat de l’escola participa conjuntament, des dels més petits i petites fins als majors. En aquest moment es va crear un ambient molt maco i col·laboratiu, on ben segur que, activitats com aquesta, afavoreixen la cohesió i el sentiment de grup del centre. Seguidament, un cop van acabar l’assaig, va ser l’oportunitat pel nostre company Pau (mestre de música). En Pau va ensenyar una cançó catalana i tot l’alumnat de l’escola va acabar cantant-la, sense dubte, va ser un moment màgic.
