Students of 4th of ESO have been practising the second conditional, which can be used to express ourselves about unreal situations or dreams.
They have enthusiastically been dealing with the questions of a speaking activity. In fact, they will have a conversation with their partners next week, in which they must answer their partner’s questions and speak for at least a minute. As you can imagine, questions are great fun. Here you have an example: “If you could only speak to one person every day, who would you choose?” I’m certain that we all agree that the answer is a tough one, isn’t it? To fulfil the task students must practise pronunciation and intonation, and they must check the time taken while answering the question. Overall, I have to say they enjoyed themselves while learning English in the classroom.
