POSEM EN PRÀCTICA LES NOSTRES PROPOSTES

Aquestes últimes sessions hem posat en marxa cadascuna de les activitats que vam pensar a casa amb la família i que vam presentar al grup Taronja.

Vam començar pels Mòbils Naturals que ens va proposar la GINA. Cadascú de nosaltres va escollir el pal que va voler i vam anar triant el material que hi volíem. La Gina ens va explicar com enllaçar el trapet al pal i, després, vam posar la nostra part d’imaginació, penjant-hi fulles, castanyes, pals petits i pinyes.

Un cop finalitzats els mòbils, vam elaborar els Boscos Naturals del RIAD. Ell ens va presentar un bosc amb el terra i els arbres. Però nosaltres hem experimentat amb el material i hem creat les nostres originals versions, enganxant fulles de diferents colors, mides, tipus i formes, sorra i pals.

Després dels boscos, vam posar en pràctica la tècnica de les Fulles Naturals del JACOB. Vam començar a estampar fulles, però ell ens va aconsellar passar la cera amb delicadesa, si no no sortia la fulla. Vam veure que tampoc podíem fer-ho amb la punta, sinó que havíem de passar la cera plana. Ens va semblar pura màgia com anaven apareixent les fulles al paper blanc!

També vam crear Insectes Naturals, proposats per la FERDOUS. La base dels nostres insectes és una fulla, a partir de la qual anem dibuixant potes, un cap, ulls, antenes, etc. Fins i tot hem posat ales a les nostres creacions, com els insectes que volen, o els hem dibuixat taques, com si fossin marietes.

Per finalitzar, hem posat en marxa la proposta de la RAYZA, els Arbres Naturals. Amb uns retoladors de color marró hem dibuixat arbres amb les seves branques. Per donar color, en comptes de dibuixar les fulles, hem anat al pati gran a buscar fulles de veritat per enganxar a les branques. Hem creat uns arbres molt originals.

Un cop finalitzades totes les activitats, hem pensat entre tots i totes el material necessari per cada creació. Després hem escrit el diferent material a les seves fitxes, per a elaborar el nostre dossier artístic!

FLOWERS AND THEIR FUNNY NAMES

After discovering the importance of flowers and the relationship between flowers and insects, we became quite curious about flowers! They are very beautiful but we do not know many of their names in our language…. imagine in English!

To discover some of the names, we were faced with a challenge… could we discover the name of some flowers by reading their descriptions?

We were not convinced at first, but we realized that reading a text in English is just a matter of putting into practice some simple strategies. 

The first strategy, and quite obvious, is to identify the topic and activate the vocabulary that may appear. If we are reading about flowers… the flower parts must appear in the texts! To recall the vocabulary and familiarize with its written form (you know that English words are written very differently!), we played a game on the screen. It was very fun!

After, it was time to work in pairs to read the texts and match the names to the correct pictures.  Knowing the parts of the flower and identifying words that we know very well like colours and numbers, we could do the activity with no important difficulties. Another strategy some of us used was finding words in catalan that are very similar to English! 

As we discovered, it is not necessary to know all the words in a text to understand its general idea. Follow these strategies and try to name the flowers in the picture. It is not as difficult as it may seem!
