Hello Universe, Tsunami and Marina’s Class! How are you getting on? Today we are going to practice our speaking skill. At school we have done many writings about ourselves, giving personal information: name, age, place of residence, country, favourite colour, hobbies, number of siblings, etc. Today we are going to talk about all of this information.
We are all about to finish 6th grade and it’s important to be able to do a short presentation about ourselves in English. Imagine that you have a British or an American person in front of you and you want to explain him/her who you are.
I have done one as an example, please take a look:
Maria’s Speaking (Watch the video)
“Good morning! I would like to introduce myself. My name is Maria, I’m 28 years old, I live in Terrassa but I’m from Valencia.
My favourite colours are green and blue. I don’t have any pets and I’m an only child that means that I don’t have any brothers or sisters.
In my free time time, I like reading, traveling and meeting up with my friends. And now, can you tell me something about you?”
Activity “This is me!!”: Record yourself giving an oral presentation and talk about your name, age, place of residence, country, favourite colour, number of siblings, hobbies and if you want, you can also describe yourself physically.

Objectius de les activitats:
- Treballar l’expressió oral en llengua anglesa.
- Desenvolupar la competència digital.
- Consolidar les estructures bàsiques treballades prèviament a l’aula.
Criteris d’avaluació. Aquesta activitat l’hauràs fet bé si:
- Escrius primer en un paper què vols dir i com ho vols dir. Pots guiar-te de meu exemple.
- Practiques oralment l’escrit moltes vegades. Pots utilitzar els traductors si no saps com es pronuncien les paraules.
- Crees un vídeo explicant la teva informació personal.
