My Balcony is my Little Forest – eTwinning Project

Students from 4th degree are participating in an eTwinning project with schools from other countries like Turkey, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Spain and Italy. The project is called “My Balcony is My Little Forest”  and it is very interesting. Our primary goal is to raise nature-friendly individuals who protect living beings and respect the life rights of other creatures.

During the project we have taken the responsibility of growing plants and observe their growth stages.  We have also made terrariums, spend a day in the nature  and drawn our favourite trees.

We have shared our  experiences and productions with the students from other countries and that was very motivating.

During the third term we will participate in more activities.

Sortida a la Pineda del Salat de Cicle Mitjà

L’alumnat de Cicle Mitjà hem passat un dia fantàstic a la Pineda del Salat.

Esperàvem amb molta il·lusió aquesta sortida per poder gaudir d’un dia complet a l’aire lliure amb els nostres companys i companyes. Hem jugat moltíssim i hem pogut córrer i saltar en un espai natural molt apreciat per tots nosaltres.

Sovint quan estem en un indret natural ens agrada saber-ne més coses i avui hem tingut ocasió de reconèixer alguns dels arbres més representatius de la nostra zona i saber diferenciar-los. Durant la nostra estada al parc també hem penjat als arbres algunes de les menjadores per a ocells que vam fer en el taller de reciclatge. Esperem que els agradin molt i s’hi trobin a gust!

Science in English

In the second term, the students from 5th and 6th grade have done a science unit in English.

The 5th grade students have learnt about the Solar System and in the PE classes we have acted out the Earth’s movements. With the 6th grade students, we have studied the Ecosystems and have carried out activities such as a mutual dictation or a dictogloss.

Fem terraris

Emmarcat dins del projecte eTwinning “My balcony is my little forest”  que estem fent juntament amb alumnes d’altres països europeus,  els alumnes de 4t hem après a construir terraris. Amb creativitat i respecte per les plantes hem creat els nostres petits jardins tot apreciant quines necessitats tenen les plantes per poder viure.

Us animem a crear els vostres petits terraris amb plantes resistents com ara els cactus, les molses o les suculentes  ja que aquestes són plantes que retenen aigua en els seus teixits i s’adapten molt bé a medis més àrids. Podeu decorar-los amb petits detalls que faran del vostre terrari un jardí personalitzat i molt creatiu!
