This year, in the English class, we have discovered Thanksgiving Day, a holiday celebrated in the United States and Canada. It’s a special day when people say “thank you” for all the good things in life (like family, friends, and yummy food!).
During Thanksgiving, families usually eat a big feast with turkey, mashed potatoes, veggies, and pumpkin pie. People also play games, watch parades, and just have fun together.
At school, we learned about Thanksgiving traditions, and we talked about what we’re thankful for. It was super fun and gave us lots of ideas to be grateful every day!
