On June 12th, we celebrated English Day at our school! Throughout the third term, the 5th-grade students had been preparing this special event, and it was finally time to enjoy all their hard work.
This year, our English Day was dedicated to discovering New Zealand, the country we’ve been learning about during this last term. All classes explored different aspects of New Zealand’s culture, nature, and traditions.
The youngest students and 1st graders had their own passports and completed fun challenges as they “travelled” through New Zealand. Afterward, primary students enjoyed watching the film Nanny McPhee in English.
It was a fun-filled day, and we all had a great time learning and speaking in English!
