Symposium: Unfolding Human Potential

Catalonia is involved in a current of pedagogical renewal. Many schools join school networks to build knowledge and evolve. The changing society sets out new challenges and we, Marina School, want to become active agents of this change.

Today we received the visit of Nickel van der Vorm and Merel Boon, two Dutch educators who are organising “Symposium: Unfolding Human Potential. A dialogue on core qualities and practices needed in education” that will be celebrated the 8^th and 9^th of February in Driebergen (Netherlands). We’ve been chosen as an example of a good educational practice that will serve as a starting point to perform dialogues. They’ve been in our school and they’ve filmed our daily activity.

Catalunya està immersa en un corrent de renovació pedagògica. Molts centres s’uneixen en xarxes per tal de construir coneixement i transformar-se. La societat canviant planteja nous reptes i nosaltres, l’Escola Marina, també volem ser agents del canvi.

Avui ens han visitat en Nickel van der Vorm i la Merel Boon, dos pedagogs holandesos, organitzadors del simpòsium “El potencial humà. Un diàleg sobre les principals qualitats i pràctiques necessàries a l’educació” que se celebrarà el propers 8 i 9 de febrer a Driebergen (Holanda). Hem estat seleccionats com a exemple de pràctica educativa que servirà com a punt de partida per a realitzar els diàlegs. Han estat a l’escola i han gravat el funcionament del nostre dia a dia.
