LET’S CLEAN UP! – Our Forest Clean-Up Adventure

On Tuesday, May 13th, the students from 3rd to 6th grade at our school took part in a special activity called LET’S CLEAN UP. We went to the forest of La Palma de Cervelló with one mission: to collect as much rubbish as possible and help take care of our environment.

Working in groups, we spent 1 hour and 30 minutes cleaning the forest. We were amazed—and a bit shocked—by how much trash we found. In total, we collected almost 900 kilograms of waste! There were all kinds of objects: plastic bottles, cans, broken furniture, bags, and even things we didn’t expect to find in nature.

All the students were very motivated. In fact, we wanted to keep going, but unfortunately, we ran out of bags and time. Still, we felt proud of what we achieved and realized how important it is to protect the planet.

This experience made us reflect on how our actions affect the environment. We are already looking forward to doing it again—next time with even more bags and more helping hands!

Let’s all remember: every small action counts when it comes to saving our planet!
