Dilluns 9 de juny, el saló d’actes de l’Institut Dertosa va acollir l’acte de lliurament de diplomes i certificats dels projectes Erasmus+ i eTwinning desenvolupats durant el curs 2025-2026. L’esdeveniment va servir per reconèixer la participació de l’alumnat en les nombroses iniciatives europees impulsades pel centre i per posar en valor les experiències educatives, culturals i lingüístiques viscudes al llarg del curs.
L’acte va ser conduït pels alumnes de 1r de batxillerat Irene Descarrega i Àngel Aceña, que van destacar la importància dels programes europeus en la formació de l’alumnat i en la projecció internacional de l’institut. La directora del centre, Francina Prades, va inaugurar la jornada amb unes paraules d’agraïment a l’alumnat, al professorat i a les famílies per la seua implicació en uns projectes que fomenten la convivència, la cooperació i l’aprenentatge de llengües.
Durant la primera part de l’acte es van presentar els cinc projectes eTwinning desenvolupats enguany: Ad Astra, Grenzenlose Geschichte, Young Voices of Europe, Switch Off to Connect More i Voices of Youth. Alumnes participants van explicar els objectius i les activitats realitzades conjuntament amb estudiants d’altres països europeus, abans de rebre els corresponents certificats acreditatius.
La segona part va estar dedicada als projectes Erasmus+, que han permès a l’alumnat del centre participar en mobilitats internacionals a Itàlia, Alemanya, França, Txèquia, Portugal i Polònia. Els estudiants van compartir les seues experiències d’intercanvi, convivència i aprenentatge en diferents centres europeus, destacant els beneficis personals, acadèmics i lingüístics que aquestes estades els han aportat.
Al llarg de la cerimònia es van lliurar els certificats Europass als participants de les diverses mobilitats realitzades a Agrigento, Lahr, Die, Gifhorn, Hořice i Bolonya, així com als alumnes que han participat en programes de mobilitat individual de llarga durada a Portugal, Txèquia i Polònia. També es va reconèixer la tasca de l’alumnat que ha acollit estudiants estrangers durant el curs.
L’acte va incloure igualment la presentació del disseny guanyador de la dessuadora Erasmus+ per al curs 2026-2027, una iniciativa que ha comptat amb una destacada participació de l’alumnat.
La jornada va finalitzar amb la lectura del poema Català que connecta, del professor Emigdi Subirats, un text que reivindica la diversitat lingüística i cultural europea i que posa en valor la presència de la llengua catalana en els projectes internacionals. Amb aquesta cloenda, l’Institut Dertosa va reafirmar el seu compromís amb la internacionalització educativa i amb la construcció d’una ciutadania europea oberta, participativa i respectuosa amb la diversitat.
Diploma Ceremony for the Erasmus+ and eTwinning Projects at Institut Dertosa
On Monday, 9 June, the assembly hall of Institut Dertosa hosted the diploma and certificate ceremony for the Erasmus+ and eTwinning projects carried out during the 2025–2026 academic year. The event celebrated the participation of students in the many European initiatives promoted by the school and highlighted the educational, cultural and linguistic experiences they have enjoyed throughout the year.
The ceremony was presented by first-year Baccalaureate students Irene Descarrega and Àngel Aceña, who emphasized the importance of European programmes in students’ education and in strengthening the school’s international dimension. The school principal, Francina Prades, opened the event by thanking students, teachers and families for their commitment to projects that promote cooperation, intercultural understanding and language learning.
During the first part of the ceremony, the five eTwinning projects developed this year were presented: Ad Astra, Grenzenlose Geschichte, Young Voices of Europe, Switch Off to Connect More and Voices of Youth. Students involved in each project explained their objectives and the activities carried out together with partner schools across Europe before receiving their participation certificates.
The second part of the event focused on the Erasmus+ programme, which has enabled students from Institut Dertosa to take part in international mobilities in Italy, Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Portugal and Poland. Participants shared their experiences of studying abroad, living with host families and discovering new cultures, while also improving their language skills and broadening their horizons.
Throughout the ceremony, Europass certificates were awarded to students who had participated in the various group mobilities to Agrigento, Lahr, Die, Gifhorn, Hořice and Bologna, as well as to those who had taken part in long-term individual mobilities in Portugal, the Czech Republic and Poland. Recognition was also given to the students who had hosted international visitors during the academic year.
The event also included the presentation of the winning design for the Erasmus+ hoodie for the 2026–2027 school year, a competition that once again attracted a high level of student participation.
The ceremony concluded with the reading of the poem Català que connecta (“Catalan that Connects”), written by teacher Emigdi Subirats. The poem celebrates Europe’s linguistic and cultural diversity while highlighting the role of the Catalan language within international projects. With this closing message, Institut Dertosa reaffirmed its commitment to international education and to fostering an open, inclusive and culturally diverse European citizenship.
