Hi, I’m Ainara, I study 1st ESO in Badia i Margarit, and I will explain you my experience these first two weeks.
The first day we went to the highschool, but the second day we went to Centre Cívic del Barri Montserrat because are finishing the new institut. Now we continue in Centre Civic.
The classes are divided into optatives. I’m in D class. My class optative is art and band. I chose band.
My tutor is Aina Sellart. She is a teacher of visual i plàstica (VIP), but this year she is a tutor, teacher of VIP and teacher of Catalan.
There are a lot of subjects, compared to the things that we did in school. We do Socials, Spanish, Music, Reading, Technology, Mathematics, Science, VIP, English, Cultura i Valors, Ed. fìsica (Physical Education) and Tutoría. We have different teachers that are specialized in some subjects.
The break time is in a park close to the Centre Cívic. The park is divided into 4 parts, each class has one part, and every day is the same.
Teachers told us that next month we will be in the new high school, and I am very happy.
The school is a new stage in life.
