International mobility

The vocational training center Salvador Seguí looks forward the international mobility of their students and teachers in order to improve the quality of the education and the professional and language skills. These activities are managed by the workers of Mobility Coordination.

Mission:

The international mobility office manages the international mobility of the students and teachers, following Linguistic Project principles. Also promotes the International activities of the center.

This mission lays at several points:

a) Promote the mobility among the students

b) Promote the mobility of the professors, encouraging them to taking part in courses or workshops, job-shadowing and later sharing the achieved experiences with the rest of the educational community.

c) Promote the chance to exchange experiences among the youngsters with same age and similar professional skills

d) Enhance the sense of European citizenship and the discovery of the culture and the habits of other countries.

Vision:

Since the Mobility Coordination wants to promote the internationalization of the Secondary School fosters programs and specific activities to improve his projection and international presence. This internationalization has to be understood as an element that conforms all the activities and affects all members of the educational community.

Functions of the Mobility Coordination:

1. Cooperate in to plan training stays at working centers for the students received at programs of mobility

2. Advise the professors about the programs of international mobility.

3. Promote the exchange of international good practices among the professors of the center.

4. Draw up the annual program of the Mobility Coordination.

5. Write the annual memory of the Mobility Coordination.

LINGUISTIC POLICY

Our linguistic policy, as defined in the linguistic Project of the center, says that the students should value the importance of the languages, due to the wealth provided by their knowledge. Also they should be motivated in learning new languages and they should be able to understand and to use at, least, in one foreign language. This is a basic pedagogical aim of our center than can be explained in the following points:

1. Increasing and improving the internships and the stays of pupils at other countries.

2. Taking part in projects committed to improve the linguistic competence of our students, specially these ones developed in official Spanish or EU languages.

3. Facilitating learning of different EU languages to students and teachers.

4. Promoting student internships and training stays with students and teachers in other EU countries.

The aims are:

a) To improve the presence of other European languages in the educational curriculum.

b) To improve the process of learning foreign languages among the students and the professors.

c) To improve the internships and training stays of pupils and professors at other EU countries.
