Projecte Educatiu
L’Institut Manuel Vázquez Montalbán, com a centre públic d’ensenyament es defineix com inclusiu, aconfesional i respectuós amb la pluralitat i la diversitat.
La nostra missió és aconseguir que el nostre alumnat esdevingui una persona amb una formació integral. En l’àmbit acadèmic, volem i ens comprometem a que el nostre alumnat desenvolupi les seves capacitats al màxim.
En l’àmbit personal i social volem que el nostre alumnat estigui integrat i s’impliqui en la millora del seu entorn més proper. L’institut es compromet a realitzar activitats (obligatòries i voluntàries) que permetin aquest coneixement i aquesta implicació.
Els valors que volem transmetre al nostre alumnat són, entre molts d’altres, el compromís i la constància en tots els àmbits de la vida. Volem alumnat i ciutadans ben formats i capaços de pensar i situar-se en el lloc de l’altre; igualment, volem que l’alumnat pensi sempre en el diàleg i en la mediació com a forma de resolució de qualsevol tipus de conflicte.
La nostra visió ens fa pensar que, per aconseguir tot això, cal que a les aules utilitzem metodologies globalitzadores dels continguts i de tarannà actiu i participatiu. Aquestes metodologies ens permeten que l’alumnat pugui arribar al màxim de les seves capacitats. Així mateix, i a partir de diverses activitats i projectes, fem que l’alumnat pugui utilitzar tots aquests coneixements acadèmics, emocionals i socials en la seva orientació personal i en la millora del seu entorn proper.
