Last week students at 1st Batxillerat embraced the spirit of romance and creativity by crafting their own pick-up lines for Valentine’s Day. A pick-up line is a humorous or clever remark intended to initiate a flirtatious conversation, often aimed at expressing romantic interest. These lines can range from simple introductions to witty one-liners designed to make someone smile or laugh.
This year, the students received valuable assistance from Cordelia, the language assistant, who helped them create some fantastic pick-up lines. Their collaboration showcases a blend of creativity and linguistic flair. Here are a few examples she offered them as inspiration:
«Are you a magician? Because every time I look at you, everyone else disappears.»
“Do you have a map? I just got lost in your eyes.”
«If I could rearrange the alphabet, I’d put U and I together.»
«If you were a vegetable, you’d be a cute-cumber!»
“Did it hurt, when you fell from heaven?”
A poster has been created featuring the delightful lines the students wrote, inviting everyone to enjoy their playful expressions.
