During two weeks, in English and Physics and Chemistry B-hours, we worked on our science fair experiments and presentations. In English, we made the posters and practised the pronunciation, and in Physics and Chemistry we chose and made the experiments. The same week that we had to do the presentations, we made a full rehearsal with our classmates and teachers.
On Thursday 6th of June, we presented our science fair experiments. We arrived at our high school at 6.30 pm to start preparing everything for our presentation. Then, at 7.00 pm parents arrived and we started doing the presentations, two groups at the same time. After everybody finished their presentation, we took a group photo with all the students. After that, we waited for the jury to decide who won each prize. There were three prizes, the one with the best poster, the one with the best presentation and the one with the best experiment.
Finally, everyone started cleaning up everything. When we finished, everyone went home.
We think it was a really fun activity to do and it helped us improve our English and oral presentation skills.
