El curs passat, els alumnes de 2n i 4t d’ESO que van superar el mock exam (examen simulacre) de Cambridge van tenir l’oportunitat de fer un pas més i presentar-se, voluntàriament, a l’examen oficial de Cambridge English al nostre mateix centre, gràcies a un conveni aconseguit amb Aula Emi, empresa certificadora oficial que ens va contactar per oferir aquest servei.
I ho van aconseguir! Tots els 9 alumnes que s’hi van presentar van superar l’examen i han certificat el seu nivell d’anglès, amb titulacions que van des de l’A2 fins al B2.
Per celebrar aquest èxit, el passat dimecres 16 de setembre vam fer un petit acte al hall de recepció del centre, on vam lliurar els certificats i vam felicitar els protagonistes pel seu esforç i constància.
Aquesta primera experiència ens anima a continuar, si la proposta d’aquesta empresa es manté. Volem convertir aquesta iniciativa en un projecte de centre i oferir cada curs a més alumnes la possibilitat de preparar-se i aconseguir una certificació oficial d’anglès sense sortir de l’institut.

A New Challenge: Certifying Our English Level
Last school year, students in 2nd and 4th of ESO who passed the Cambridge mock exam had the opportunity to take the next step and voluntarily sit the official Cambridge English exam at our school, thanks to an agreement with Aula Emi, an official examination centre that contacted us to offer this service.
And they did it! All 9 students who took the exam passed and have now certified their English level, with qualifications ranging from A2 to B2.
To celebrate this achievement, on Wednesday 16th September, we held a small ceremony in the school reception hall, where we handed out the certificates and congratulated the students on their hard work and perseverance.
This first experience has encouraged us to continue, as long as the company’s offer remains available. We would like to turn this initiative into a school-wide project, giving more students the opportunity each year to prepare for and obtain an official English qualification without having to leave the school.
