First three days in Ireland with 1st BAT

Our 1st BAT students are currently enjoying an enriching and exciting trip to Ireland, filled with culture, history, and unforgettable experiences.

The adventure began on Sunday with our arrival in Dublin. Students visited the fascinating Dublinia Museum, where they learned about Viking and medieval history, followed by a stroll through the lively city centre, including the iconic Grafton Street. Later that day, we travelled to Gort, where students met their welcoming host families, who would host them during their stay.

Monday was a day of creativity and culture. In the morning, students participated in engaging drama and storytelling workshops, where they got to express themselves and learn more about Irish traditions. The fun continued in the evening with an energetic Irish dancing session, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

On Tuesday, we set off on a full-day excursion to some of Ireland’s most breathtaking and historic sites. We began with the awe-inspiring Cliffs of Moher, followed by a visit to the impressive Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, where students explored traditional Irish homes, shops, and crafts from the past.

It was a truly memorable experience that combined learning, culture, and lots of fun!
