The Department of Foreign Languages continues to pursue projects that enable us to present language learning to our students in a more authentic and engaging manner. With this objective in mind, this year we have organised a linguistic and cultural stay in Dublin.
The initiative was offered to all 3rd ESO students, and 11 students from 3rd ESO classes A, B, C, D, and E ultimately participated. They visited Ireland’s capital for 6 days, accompanied by teachers Rosanna Bellaubí and Gracia Gimeno. The students were accommodated with Irish host families and attended classes, receiving a completion certificate upon finishing the programme. They also explored points of interest, museums, and monuments throughout Dublin.
Both the teachers and participating students have provided very positive feedback. The students participating reported having tremendous fun while simultaneously developing their language proficiency and cultural awareness. The experience has left a lasting impression, and many have already expressed their strong desire to participate in a similar exchange during their 4th ESO year.
We would like to thank the families and the managing board for their support in this valuable initiative.
