Last term, as Global Scholars’ students we explored communication in the digital age. We shared our personal experiences with the Internet, social media, and digital devices, and issues such as cyberbullying, Internet privacy, and Internet safety with our peer students in other countries. We also learnt about how cities and institutions use the same methods to communicate with residents. We discussed the social and environmental impact of digital communication, and learnt that code is used to create apps, websites, and digital tools. For the unit project, we created a public service announcement (PSA) to educate students at our school about cyberbulling. Clicking on these links you can watch some of the videos we have created.
