ERASMUS DAYS October 2022

These days of October’22 our students have been learning more about Europe during Erasmus days. https://www.erasmusdays.eu/

They have seen the presentations from some partners who have had the opportunity to participate in Erasmus projects, so that they could share their impressions, their experiences…and also the rest of students could ask them about their doubts, their feelings, their recommendations…

The students have participated in a quiz comptetition about Europe. They worked in teams and they shared their knowledge…and we had some winners: the ones who kew more about Europe, its culture, traditions, people, cities… However, we had prizes for ALL the students!!

Finally, ALL the students could write some messages for the school poster in order to share what they have felt in every mobility, after hosting students in our school, etc.

Primera trobada Lo Consell

El dijous 6 d’octubre vam fer la primera trobada de les veus d’aquest curs que representaran als seus companys/es de curs en Lo Consell, òrgan participatiu de l’alumnat del nostre centre, on compartim necessitats, neguits, propostes… amb la intenció de millorar el funcionament del nostre centre educatiu! Aquesta primera sessió ha estat de presentació dels nous membres i de coneixement dels estatuts. També han informat de cada tema escollit per classe per fer la Setmana Cultural d’aquest curs i han participat en una dinàmica per entendre les funcions i els sentiments que ens comporta ser veu i participar a Lo Consell! A partir d’imatges han sorgit conceptes com el d’ajuda, d’escolta, de transmissió i de llibertat per dir allò que pensem! Moltes gràcies a totes les veus per la seva implicació en aquesta primera trobada i esperem que aquest sentiment ens acompanyi tot el curs!

Erasmus k229, Digital Citizenship through Castles

From 2nd to 7th October 2022, our students from 4th ESO participated in a students’ mobility in Sicily, in Bagheria. They were working on the project about “Digital Citizenship through Castles”, with the partners from Sicily, Turkey and Romania.

The activities were related to digitalization and the knowledge about castles, history, culture and tradition.

Our students were able to taste new dishes, learn about other cultures and improve their skills in English while communicating with other partners. They also learnt new words in other languages, such as Italian, Romanian and Turkish.

It was a week full of activities where students could demonstrate their different abilities.

Constitució del nou Green Team

Avui ha tingut lloc la primera reunió amb els nous membres del Green Team. Hem comprovat que tenim un equip molt participatiu, amb ganes d’implicar-se a fons en el projecte d’Escola Verda del centre. Després de presentar-nos i llegir els estatuts, hem recordat les accions del curs anterior. Tot seguit, ha arribat el moment de prendre decisions sobre els propers reptes. Estem segurs que, entre tots, aconseguirem millorar el nostre entorn.🍀

Polish students in Batea, September 2022

Our students from 2nd ESO welcomed a group of students from Poland, in the project

“Europe, a restaurant where entrepreneurship is the key to success”.

Students from Batea and students from Poland are sharing great moments while working in their project and learning from others. They are understanding the key to be an entrepreneur while they are designing their own restaurants and menus… nyam nyam!!!

Lego programme with Poland

Students from 3rd ESO welcomed one more time students from Poland to work on the programme related to robotics and Legos.

Our students are becoming really good experts and we hope that in the future thay can make a good use of this in their future jobs.

All this will be useful to participate in the Erasmus programme 22-23.

Students from Poland and Catalonia had a great time in the school, but also in the town and surroundings, where they spent so much time enjoying themselves, sharing cultures, ideas and games.

The final competition was a great success with lots of spectators!

PROJECTES MOBILE HISTORY MAP

El passat 17 de juny es van atorgar els premis mSchools. Dos projectes del nostre centre havien quedat finalistes en el Mobile History Map. Vegeu el contingut d’ambdues propostes:

Finalment, el jurat va determinar atorgar una menció especial al projecte «La Sostenibilitat a la Terra Alta» el qual té com a principal objectiu visibilitzar projectes i iniciatives sostenibles a la comarca de la Terra Alta.

Exposició Portes de la Memòria. Deportació dels republicans ampostins als camps de concentració nazis

Durant aquesta primera quinzena de maig, el nostre centre ha comptat amb l’exposició itinerant cedida per Portes de la Memòria «Deportació dels republicans ampostins als camps de concentració nazis».

Aquesta exposició té l’origen en un treball transversal que va implicar diverses matèries i que va portar a terme l’alumnat de 1r de Batxillerat de l’INS Ramon Berenguer IV d’Amposta durant els cursos 2018-2019 i 2019-2020.

L’exposició ens apropa a la realitat que van viure deu persones d’Amposta deportades en un camp de concentració, les vicissituds que van haver d’afrontar i l’alliberament o la mort en cada cas. A més a més, l’exposició ens apropa a dos persones exiliades que han estat forçades a deixar casa seva fa només pocs anys. Aquest contingut ens fa establir paral·lelismes entre el passat i el present, reflexionar sobre les guerres, els totalitarismes i el patiment de la població civil. En definitiva, un document visual que ens ha estat molt útil per endinsar-nos en els fets obscurs de l’Holocaust i la Segona Guerra Mundial.
