Reading with a purpose

One of the main goals when we are learning a foreign language is being able to promote an active part constructing and developing strategies to comprehend what we are reading. Our ESO students are enthusiastic readers, and proof of that is that we are reading two novels per course, comparing, contrasting, and reinforcing their reading with grammar that we have learned in class.  We set small goals, we create debates and we motivate ourselves with literature, because reading is meant to improve our vocabulary and communication but also increase our concentration!
