Connexió amb Finlàndia: una experiència inoblidable!

g del curs 2023-2024, la nostra escola ha establert contacte amb l’escola Malmi Peruskoulu de Hèlsinki (Finlàndia). Aquesta nova connexió ha estat l’inici d’un projecte molt enriquidor que ha involucrat durant tot el curs els alumnes de 4t de Primària.
Des de l’inici del curs, els nens i nenes han mantingut un contacte regular per email amb els seus companys i companyes finlandesos. Aquest intercanvi ha permès a l’alumnat practicar l’anglès en un context real i significatiu, alhora que descobrien una altra cultura europea.
El passat dimecres 21 de maig, aquest projecte va viure un moment molt especial: una connexió en directe mitjançant Google Meet amb els alumnes finlandesos! Durant aquesta trobada virtual, els alumnes es van conèixer en persona, van parlar una estona i van jugar al joc “Who is who” a partir d’unes descripcions que s’havien enviat prèviament.
Va ser una jornada plena d’emocions, somriures i descobriments. Els alumnes van gaudir molt de poder posar cara als amics amb qui havien estat parlant durant tot l’any! Tanmateix, això no s’acaba aquí: el curs vinent es continuarà aquest intercanvi, fent créixer encara més aquesta bonica connexió entre escoles.

Meeting exchange with Finland: an unforgettable experience!
As a result of the 2023–2024 Job Shadowing programme, our school has established contact with Malmin Peruskoulu School in Helsinki, Finland. This new connection has marked the beginning of a highly enriching project that has involved 4th Grade students throughout the entire school year.
Since the beginning of the school year, students have maintained regular email correspondence with their Finnish pen pals. This exchange has allowed them to practice English in a real and meaningful context, while also discovering another European culture.
On Wednesday, May 21st, the project reached a very special milestone: a live video call via Google Meet with the Finnish students! During this virtual meeting, the students met face-to-face, had a conversation, and played the game “Who is who”, based on descriptions that had been shared in advance.
It was a day full of emotions, smiles, and discoveries. The students enjoyed being able to finally put a face to the friends they had been communicating with all year! However, this is not the end: the exchange will continue next school year, further strengthening this beautiful connection between both schools.
