DIA 4 – DIARI DE MOBILITAT
Avui no hem anat a l’escola donat que era dia festiu a tot el país. Es celebrava una festa religiosa, l’Ascenció de Jesús o Helatorstai en finès.
Com és costum d’alguns dies festius, vam veuremoltes banderes hissades, tant a cases particulars com als carrers i edificis públics.
Tal com ens van recomanar, hem aprofitat el dia per anar a Porvoo una ciutat històrica que compta amb magatzems al costat del riu, antigues cases i carrers de pedra. Tota la part antiga és com un gran museu. Ha valgut la pena poder fer la visita, ja que hem pogut conèixer una mica més de la història d’aquest país.

We haven’t gone to school today, because is a bank holiday in all the country. The Helatorstai, the Christ’s Ascension, was celebrated.
As a festivity day tradition, we could see lots of hoisted flags in the streets, private houses or publics buildings.
As a recommendation, we have done a trip to Porvoo, a historical town with warehouses along the river, ancient houses and cobblestone streets. All the ancient town centre is like a great museum.
As we got to know a bit more about Finland history, this town visit has been worthwhile.
