Hello everyone!
Here you have the 3rd English challenge. Are you ready?
The activity consists of creating a COMIC STRIP (of more or less 6 vignettes) telling your DAILY ROUTINE or THE THINGS YOU ARE DOING during the Quarantine.
- You can practise the use of the Present Simple Tense (daily routine) or the Present Continuous (things you are doing in this moment).
- You can write sentences about you (1st person: I get up at… / I am reading) or about a friend, your mum, your dad… (3rd person: He/She gets up at… / He/She is reading).
Look at the examples below:
*Example 1: Present simple (daily routine):
*Example 2: Present continuous (things you are doing NOW / in this moment):
To create the comic you need to go to www.storyboardthat.com and register (log in > register > username / e-mail / password > sign up):
Click on: “create a storyboard”
Choose the Layout (Diseño). Example 1 is “Celda y Descripción“. Example 2 is “Sólo Celda“.
Choose the background (“Escenas”), characters (“Caracteres”), text bubbles (“Ables texto”) and objects.
To search for an object you need to write the word in English (for example: car / beach…).
Instructions to FINISH your comic strip:
1st step – “Salvar”
2nd step – “Guardar la salida”
3rd step – “Botón derecho – guardar imagen como… (png image)”
The assessment criteria for this task are:
