At our school, Sant Josep de Calassanç, we recently carried out a very special activity called “Pen Friend.” This project was organized together with La Rossella School in Rosselló and aimed to encourage communication and friendship between students from different schools. Each student had the opportunity to write a letter to a partner from the other school, introducing themselves and sharing details about their life, hobbies, and interests.
The activity was an enriching experience because it allowed us to practice our writing skills while getting to know new people. We also learned the importance of written communication as a tool to build connections and share cultures and experiences. When we received the replies, the excitement was huge: discovering who our new friend was and what they wanted to tell us.
