Superior degree training programs

Superior degree training programs are professionalisation learnings in higher education that prepare students for qualified activity in a career field.

These studies have a duration of 2.000 hours (in two academic years) and are classified in professional families.

The degree obtained when finishing a superior grade training program is technician of the corresponding professional profile, which allows access to work world and enter university studies.

Direct access to the program is given to the people meeting one of the following requisites:

• Having the degree of baccaulerate, the degree of professional training technician or plasticarts and design, professional training superior technician or plastic arts and design or specialised technician.
• Having finished the second year of baccalaureate in any modality of experimental one.
• Having finished the course of university orientation (curs d’orientació universitària, COU) or the pre-university course.
• Having the baccalaureate degree for having studied the former batxillerat unificat i polivalent (BUP), having any university degree or an equivalent one, or having passed the university entrance exam for people older than 25 years old, or to 45 years old, or having entered the univeristy after getting accredited working or professional experience being 40 years old.
• The people not meeting any of the previous requisites must pass an entrance exam. To do the exam people need to be 19 years old or have their birthday the year in which it takes place.

Pre-registration and enrolment

In order to study the program it is needed to formalise the application and handle it in the centre where the first option is studied. When the number of applications is higher than offer, requests will be ordered according to the grade point average of the studies or the mark in the exam allowing to enter the program.

Enrolment costs in the centres depending on the Department of Education are:

For LOE programs

• Each course: 360 euros.
• Each formative unit: 25 euros; each module of workplace training (formació en centres de treball, FCT): 25 euros.

For LOGSE programs

• Each course: 360 euros.
• Each credit: 65 euros; each module of workplace training (FCT): 65 euros.
• Per la compleció (per crèdit): 20 euros.

Continuity

The people successfully finishing a superior degree training program will obtain the degree of superior technician, which allows them to access:

• To any oficial university degree or superior degree training programs
• To work world

These studies grant the degree of superior technician, which allows access to any ofical univeristy degree. The people graduated in a superior degree training program can obtain the recognition of university credits ECTS. For further information check Canal Universitats.
