Last Wednesday, 15th December, the students of the English 3 class also went on a tour round Vilafranca’s wine museum. We were lucky to enjoy the company of Cecília, a member of Vinseum’s staff and a historian herself, who took us round the tiny premises full of art works and wine-related anecdotes. We were told about the Asian origin of Vitis vinifera, who Dr. Potato was, how country people had fought against the plague of phylloxeras, and so many other interesting stories. All in English!
