This week, children from 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade enjoyed a very special experience at school by watching the theatre play The Plastic Mermaid, a story about adventure and caring for the environment.

The play tells the story of Ariel, a mermaid who discovers that the sea is full of plastic instead of treasures. Worried about marine life, she leaves the ocean to investigate, giving up her voice to get legs. On land, she meets Eric, a fisherman who can no longer catch fish because his nets are full of plastic. Together, they try to find out what is happening.

The children watched the play with great enthusiasm and reflected on plastic pollution and the importance of recycling. It was a fun and educational activity with a clear message: together, we can protect our planet.

Aquesta setmana, la canalla de 1r, 2n i 3r de primària va gaudir d’una experiència molt especial a l’escola amb l’obra de teatre The Plastic Mermaid, una història plena d’aventures i consciència ambiental.

L’obra explica la història de l’Ariel, una sirena que descobreix que el mar s’està omplint de plàstics. Preocupada pel que passa, surt a investigar i coneix l’Eric, un pescador que ja no pesca peixos, sinó plàstics. Junts intentaran esbrinar l’origen d’aquesta contaminació.

La canalla va seguir l’obra amb molta atenció i entusiasme i va reflexionar sobre la importància de cuidar el mar i reciclar. Una activitat divertida i educativa que ens recorda que entre tots i totes podem protegir el planeta.
