Hello everyone! Hola!
My name is Marko, and I am a fresh graduate from Croatia. I used to study in the beautiful coastal town of Zadar, which has so many awesome sunsets! After earning a degree in English Language Education and Pedagogy not long ago, I decided to enrich my teaching experiences by participating in my first Erasmus. As I am writing this, it’s been a few days for me, but I am already spending active time absorbing the culture and atmosphere. I am already getting used to the siesta lifestyle! 😂
Probably the first thing someone can say about me is that I am an (overly) excitable person. I find joy in small things, so I like to live my life that way. At the same time, I think of life as one big adventure. We never know what exactly to expect, but that is what makes it so fun for me! Sometimes, I can come across as perky at best, or boring at worst, but I do my best to do my part.
Lastly, it is my hope that I will be able to contribute to the best of my abilities. This is my first ever Erasmus and my first ever real teaching experience. I am planning to use all the knowledge and skills I’ve gathered during my years of studies, including various volunteering opportunities I was lucky enough to take. Most importantly, I will also take this as my big chance to learn many new things (including new languages, hopefully!)
So with that being said, I am extremely grateful to be staying here in Lleida. In return, I am sharing with you some of the best sunset photos I managed to take in Zadar. They have a calming effect, so I hope you like them 😄
