Avui ha estat un dia de celebració per als nens i nenes de cicle mitjà. Ben guarnits de verd i amb els nostres trèvols pintats, hem conegut la llegenda del Leprachaun i hem treballat aquesta festivitat a través de diversos racons. Ha estat un dia diferent i ben divertit!

Aquests dies, l’alumnat de cicle mitjà ha estat elaborant els seus projectes d’anglès. Aquest trimestre, hem estat treballant el vocabulari dels programes de televisió, i ens hem animat a crear uns treballs d’allò més bonics sobre els nostres pogrames preferits. Hem gaudit i après molt exposant-los i escoltant als nostres companys i companyes!

Today our 6th grade students have been to the 10th English Day in Mollerussa.
This initiative is organized by the seminar of English language teachers and has the collaboration of secondary school students who support and act as helpers in each of the activities. The main goal is to highlight and improve the English language.
The different games or activities were the following ones:
Escape park, Karaoke, Run and Guess, Running dictation, Pass the Word and pass the bomb, Find someone who..., Building Sentences, T-shirts, Pictionary, Reading and Game time.
We have finished dancing a flashmob all together and we've spent a nice day while talking in English.
ENLLAÇ A L'ÀLBUM 10TH ENGLISH DAY IN MOLLERUSSA
L’alumnat d’Educació Infantil acaba les últimes sessions d’anglès treballant el vocabulari de Pasqua i jugant al famós Egg Hunt.

Aquest primer trimestre hem dut a terme 4 tallers internivells. S’han barrejat els alumnes de primer i segon i cadascun dels grups ha fet dues sessions de cada taller.
El primer taller ha estat el de robòtica. Els alumnes han hagut de recordar com funcionaven les Bee-Bot i practicar amb diferents catifes. En la següent sessió, han hagut de construir un circuit i fer-hi passar el robot.
El segon taller, el dels artistes, ha estat dedicat a Vicent Van Gogh i James Rizzi. Després de conèixer els autors, els nens i nenes han hagut de crear la seva ciutat, pintar-la amb ceres i difuminar-la.
El tercer taller ha estat en anglès. Els alumnes han descobert els colors primaris i secundaris (amb pintura) i, utilitzant-los, han creat un retrat, inspirat en el conte It’s okay de Todd Parr.
Finalment, en l’últim taller realitzat en castellà, han creat la tapa de l’àlbum dels primer trimestre, tot utilitzant la tècnica del volum. A més a més, també han fet una creació de la tardor mitjançant l’estampació.
S’ho han passat genial!

“EXCALIBUR”
This thursday, the middle school students went to the L’Amistat theatre in Mollerussa to see an English play “Excalibur” by the Theatre4Schools as part of the “Pla de dinàmica educativa”.
They enjoyed the play and practised theirs englisn knowledge.

Last Friday we celebrated the Halloween English Day in our school.
We had a mission: to discover where the Halloween creatures were!
In groups, we did different activities: a Halloween dance, karaoke, an eye race, magnets, hot pumpkin game, catwalk and photocall among others. In each one we received a part of a jigsaw. At the end, we had to put all the pieces together so as to discover the secret place: we had to go to the playground!
Once there, we called them out and… they appeared!
It was a fantastic and scary Halloween English Day!

Divendres passat vam celebrar el “Halloween English Day” a l’escola.
Teníem una missió: descobrir on estaven les criatures de Halloween.
En grups, vam fer diferents activitats: un ball de Halloween, karaoke, una cursa d’ulls, imans, el joc de la carabassa calenta, una passarel·la i “photocall” entre d’altres. En cadascuna de les proves rebíem una part d’un trencaclosques. Al final, havíem de posar-les totes juntes per tal de descobrir on eren les criatures de Halloween:havíem d’anar al pati!
Una vegada allà, els vam cridar i… van aparèixer!
Va ser un fantàstic i aterrador “Halloween English Day”!

Per acabar d’arrodonir la jornada, divendres a la tarda vam celebrar la castanyada. Vam sortir tots i totes al pati i els alumnes d’infantil i cicle superior ens van sorprendre amb uns balls.
Després vam menjar castanyes…. estaven boníssimes! Volem agrair la col·laboració de l’AFA per la preparació d’aquestes.

This week the 3rd and 4th graders have been doing different activities related to Halloween.
They have been remembering vocabulary related to Halloween and have also added some new words, through games, flashcards, watching the video “Ghost afraid of the dark” and playing Halloween bingo. (Click here to see the photos).

Aquesta setmana els alumnes de 3r i 4t han estat fent diferents activitats relacionades amb Halloween.
Han estat recordant vocabulari relacionat amb Halloween i també han afegit alguna paraula nova, mitjançant jocs , flashcards , mirar el vídeo “Ghost afraid of the dark” i jugant al Halloweeen bingo. (Cliqueu aquí per veure les fotos )

In 1st grade we have worked some vocabulary about Halloween creatures, we have learned a song and we have played two games: ‘Vampire, how are you?’ and ‘Who took the candy from the candy jar?’.
In 2nd grade we have watched a video about Halloween traditions in the UK, we have answered some comprehension questions about it by playing kahoot and we have designed our pumpkin by rolling a die.
We have had lots of fun and we are expecting the Halloween English Day!

A primer hem treballat vocabulari de criatures de Halloween, hem après una cançó i hem jugat a dos jocs: ‘Com estàs, vampir?’ i ‘Qui va agafar el caramel del pot’?
A segon, hem vist un vídeo sobre tradicions de Halloween al Regne Unit, hem respòs algunes preguntes mitjançant un kahoot i hem dissenyat la nostra carabassa llençant un dau.
Ens ho hem passat molt bé i ja estem desitjant que arribi el “Halloween English Day”.
