What is GEP?

GEP (generació plurilingüe) is an initiative of the Department of Education that aims to improve students’ foreign language skills, fostering their academic growth and subsequent employment, and enabling them to interact with the world in various languages and in a way critic.

The actions of the GEP program are aimed, on the one hand, at increasing students’ exposure time to curricular foreign languages and, on the other hand, at accompanying schools in the process of deploying and consolidating ‘own multilingual language project.

The GEP program incorporates a foreign language, in our case English, in non-linguistic subjects following the CLIL methodology and Project Basic Learning. The GEP program also aims to strengthen cooperative work among teachers, encourage educational innovation and promote the exchange of good practices between participating schools.

Our school has the following implementations in English:

Cicle Mijtjà and Cicle Superior:

During the different terms of the course, two or three projects will be carried out (depending on their length and duration) related to the other curricular areas.
