Second grade students had a very exciting morning today. They enjoyed reading a set of instructions about how to create a Jack-O-Lantern 🎃🎃🎃. They were pumpkin carving in the English classrom. The children loved this!

It’s time for a Halloween story! 👻
During this week, we also read 📖 What’s in the Witch’s Kitchen? by Nick Sharratt. It’s perfect for working on both food and Halloween-related vocabulary. Plus, there’s a twist when telling this story. This book has two version… a yummy version and a scary one. The witch has hidden a trick and a treat in her magical kitchen cupboards! Which one you find depends on how you open the doors. Which one will you prefer?
