WE ARE SCIENTISTS!
This week, Y1 and Y2 students from Llardecans and Massalcoreig have discovered how the water moves on above and below the surface of the Earth.
We did an amazing experiment to explains them about the water cycle.
We used a bowl with hot salt water (the oceans or seas), a cup (the land) and plastic wrap and three ice cubes (the clouds) to demonstrate in the end the precipitation.
STEPS:
- Fill the bowl with hot water.
- Put in some salt and stir it
- Now we have our ocean
- Put the small cup into the water
- Now we have the land
- Put on the plastic wrap and stick it close to the top
- Now we have the clouds
- Put three ice cubes
- Now we have a cool atmosphere over our land
- Wait 10 minutes
- You are going to see the condensation on the clouds
- You are going to see PRECIPITATION in the cup (the land)
So, this experiment shows how the ocean evaporates, hits the cool atmosphere, gets water into the clouds, and then it precipitates on the land.

SOM CIENTÍFICS!
Aquesta setmana, els alumnes de cicle inicial de Llardecans i Massalcoreig han descobert com es mou l’aigua per sobre i per sota de la superfície de la Terra.
Hem fet un experiment sorprenent per explicar-los el cicle de l’aigua.
Vam utilitzar un bol amb aigua salada i calenta (els oceants o mars), una tassa (la terra) i embolcall de plàstic i tres glaçons (els núvols) per demostrar al final la pluja.
PASSOS
1. Omplir el bol amb aigua calenta
2. Posar una mica de sal i remenar-ho
3. Ara tenim el nostre oceà
4. Posar la tassa petita a l’aigua
5. Ara tenim la terra
6. Posar l’embolcall de plàstic i enganxar-lo a la part superior
7. Ara tenim els núvols
8. Posar tres glaçons
9. Ara tenim una atmosfera fresca a la nostra terra
10. Esperar 10 minuts
11. Veuràs la condensació als núvols
12. Veuràs la PRECIPITACIÓ a la tassa (la terra)
Per tant, aquest experiment mostra com l’oceà s’evapora, arriba a l’atmosfera fresca, forma els núvols i finalment aquesta aigua cau en forma de precipitació a la terra.
