The Golden Age was a period of great achievement in Spanish art. It was a time when many great works of art and literature were created. The main styles of the Golden Age were the Renaissance and the Baroque.
Y5 and Y6 Massalcoreig and Llardecans students have been learning about the most famous Baroque painters of the Golden Age: Velázquez, Zurbarán and Murillo. The main features of their style were realism and the way in which they transmitted emotion.

L’Edat d’Or va ser un període de grans èxits en l’art espanyol. Va ser una època en què es van crear moltes grans obres d’art i literatura. Els principals estils de l’Edat d’Or van ser el Renaixement i el Barroc.
Els alumnes de cicle superior de Massalcoreig i Llardecans han estat aprenent sobre els pintors barrocs més famosos de l’Edat d’Or: Velázquez, Zurbarán i Murillo. Els trets principals del seu estil eren el realisme i la manera com transmetien l’emoció.
