Los estudiantes de l’IGS Sassenburg, que participan en el proyecto e-twinning con nuestros alumnos de la optativa de alemán, han realizado dos vídeos gastronómicos en castellano, que incluyen interesantes diálogos en un restaurante.
Some 14 year-old students in grade 3 (Catalan 3r ESO), who are are carrying out the e-twinning project together with the students in IGS Sassenburg from Gifhorn (Sachsen), have recorded a video in German in the Tortosa municipal park. We can listen to some short dialogues in a restaurant. They started learning German in March, so we can be really proud of their level.

Our first year baccaulareate art students visited Sitges on Thursday, March 25th They had been learning about Catalan modernism, most specifically about the important role played by famous playwright and painter Santiago Rusiñol (Barcelona 1861-Aranjuez 1931), who held the outstanding modernist festivals at the beginning of the 20th century. They could look round the Cau ferrat, where they could enjoy its magnificent china products, lots of beautiful pictures, as well as all the works of art with wrought iron.
Several first class of Baccalaureate students have been studying George Orwell’s life and work, one of the greatest 20th century British writers, who wrote lots of books about civil rights and people’s dignity. Eric Arthur Blair (25 June 1903 – 21 January 1950), known by his pen name George Orwell, was an English novelist, essayist, journalist and critic.His work is characterised by lucid prose, biting social criticism, opposition to totalitarianism and outspoken support of democratic socialism. He published Homage to Catalonia, after his experience in spring 1937 during the Civil War. After watching this video we can get a good insight about his writing style and the ideals he supported during his professional career as a journalist and a writer.
Our Students in grade 4 (4t ESO D humanístic, in Catalan) held an interesting online lecture in English on Thursday 4th March to talk about the International Working Woman’s Day. They watched several short films on women in Asian countries, whose life goes through great legal difficulties related to forced marriages or sexual harassment. Unsere deutschen Studenten im vierten Jahr haben drei Videos in einem Restaurant im Stadtpark Tortosa aufgenommen, die in enthalten sein werden ein E-Twinning-Projekt, das wir gemeinsam mit der deutschen Austauschschule durchführen.
Els nostres estudiants de 4t curs d’alemany han enregistrat tres videos en un restaurant del parc municipal de Tortosa, els quals s’inclouran en un projecte e-twinning que realitzem conjuntament amb l’escola alemanya de l’intercanvi.
