Our students in grade 4 (in Catalan 4t ESO C, itinerari econòmic) held a lecture at the Tortosa municipal park about the different school systems in several English speaking countries. They had previously had a look at websites about these educational systems and talked about them in groups of two. They also spoke about several dialects, and their use at school. They analysed what school is like in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Malta, Gibraltar, the US, Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zeeland. The park is a good place to hold this kind of lectures, having a lesson outdoors about an interesting educative matter.
