Scottish dancing

Last Monday, February 14th, Bisbe Berenguer’s Batxillerat students celebrated Saint Valentine’s Day enjoying a Scottish dancing workshop and learning a few steps of Céilidh, a popular form of folk dancing in Scotland.

David Vivanco visited our school once again – his first call after the COVID break – and conducted this fab session where all our students learnt about some of the most popular Scottish traditions, songs and dances while listening to the melancholy tunes of Scottish bagpipes. Thus, they were able to improve their English in a fun and exciting way, socializing with their classmates and dancing with their teachers, which was an unexpected plus.

After the workshop, they all agreed they had had a wonderful time and felt like doing it again in the future, be it here in L’Hospitalet or there, in the magnificent scenery of the Scottish Highlands.
