Fort the second year, we have ended up our Global Scholars’ experience with a community action project to try to improve our school community by doing some action in which we put into practice all of the things we have learnt during this year.

This time we have decided to do a school campaign to make of our school a better place to live in by raising students’ awareness on the issue of keeping it clean and in good condition. In order to do so, we have created and app with the help of Cristina Cortina, our computer science teacher, and our classmates from the 4rth of ESO grade. With this app, which is available on our school’s website, you can report what is dirty or broken at Bisbe Berenguer by taking a photo of it and reporting it to the school’s secretary. To inform our peers about the use of this new app, we have made a public information campaign with some posters which include QR codes we have made with the help of Toni Antúnez, our technology teacher. With them, you can download the video campaign and a tutorial clip with the information about where to get and how to use the app.

It has been a complex and exhausting project in which we have combined many different skills, from designing the logo, slogans, posters and publicity campaign, to the incorporation of new technologies to make it much more effective and appealing.
