MITA, OUR SCHOOL COOPERATIVE

Our 3rd of ESO students created a cooperative called MITA. They had to make a logo, create an organizational chart and write the cooperative rules during the first term. Their main aim was to promote local products, that’s why they created an online catalogue and sent it to their cooperative partner in Asturias. At the end of the school year, they organized a market where they sold products from Batea and from Asturias. Most of the profits will be used to pay their end of the year school trip but 10% of the profits will be sent to a social project for people with intellectual disabilities called “Jeroni de Moragas”. Well done!!!

Presentació del prototip del projecte “La Sostenibilitat és cosa de tots”

Els alumnes de 3r d’ESO han treballat de  forma cooperativa durant tot el curs en el projecte “La Sostenibilitat és cosa de tots”.  Aquest final de curs han fet l’exposició del prototip de casa sostenible que cada grup ha estat construint al llarg d’aquest curs. El projecte ha consistit, en un primer estadi,  en reflexionar sobre els problemes que afecten al planeta, l’ús d’energies renovables i tècniques per estalviar aigua i energia. Després, s’han involucrat en l’elaboració de plànols i en la construcció de la maqueta a escala. La part final, ha consistit en la redacció de la memòria i la presentació del seu projecte davant tota la classe. Ha estat una experiència molt positiva i tots hem obtingut bones idees per construir una casa que facilita una bona gestió dels recursos naturals.

Els nostres alumnes de 2n, 3r i 4t ESO han tingut avui l’oportunitat de participar a RobotEbre, a Tortosa. Han pogut fer diferents tallers relacionats amb les mates, la tecnologia…

TRADIJOC

Avui, 16 de maig, els alumnes de 1r i 2n d’ESO juntament amb els alumnes de l’Erasmus k229 (Àustria, Letònia i Alemanya) han participat en la quinzena edició del TRADIJOC a Gandesa. Aquesta trobada anual agermana alumnes dels instituts de la Ribera d’Ebre i de la Terra Alta que passen un magnífic dia coneixent els jocs tradicionals de les nostres comarques.

Campus Repte Emprèn

Our 3rd of ESO students participated in Campus Repte Emprèn organized by Fundació La Caixa that took place in Tiana (Barcelona) from the 8th to the 11th May. Our students spent four wonderful days with other participants from different parts of Spain, Peru, Venezuela and Colombia. It was a great opportunity for them to get to know people from different cultures and to learn from entrepreneurs of different fields.

On the 11th May, every team presented their pitch in Caixa Forum and the five best teams will have the chance to spend ten days in Silicon Valley (USA). The name of the winners will be published at the end of the month.
