It’s Halloween!

Last Friday, 31st October, we celebrated Halloween at school!
The 6th-grade students prepared a short scary play and a Haunted Tunnel to scare everyone. 
They did an amazing job and had a lot of fun!
It was a fantastic activity full of laughter, screams, and Halloween spirit!

Christmas Corners

Aquesta setmana, els alumnes de 3r han gaudit dels Christmas Corners, una activitat especial per aprendre anglès d’una manera divertida i creativa. A través de diversos racons, hem treballat vocabulari i estructures de la llengua anglesa, però també hem explorat aspectes culturals i artístics relacionats amb el Nadal.

Ha estat una experiència enriquidora on els infants han après mentre decoraven, jugaven i descobrien la tradició del Nadal als països de parla anglesa. Sens dubte, una manera diferent i emocionant de viure l’esperit nadalenc a l’aula! 😊

HALLOWEEN 2024

This Halloween, our 6th graders surprised everyone with an amazing performance! They presented The Witches’ Poem from Macbeth by William Shakespeare to each class. With costumes, dramatic voices, and spooky energy, they brought the famous witches’ lines to life!

After the performance, students and teachers had the chance to experience a “Tunnel of Terror,” also created by the 6th graders. Everyone had a frightful good time walking through it and seeing the spooky decorations and surprises inside.

Congratulations to our 6th graders for their hard work and creativity in making this Halloween unforgettable!

HEM COMENÇAT ELS CORNERS

Des de l’any passat, l’alumnat de primer treballa per ‘corners’ (racons d’aprenentatge) a l’àrea d’anglès. Dins de cada unitat didàctica es proposen 6 activitats on van passant en petits grups. Son activitats variades i divertides per aprendre jugant. Aquí teniu un petit recull d’imatges de l’alumnat gaudint d’aquestes estones.

Halloween

Cada any, els més grans de l’escola feien un túnel del terror per la resta d’alumnes de l’escola per mostrar una celebració típica anglesa: el Halloween. Ja que aquest any, degut a la Covid-19 no ha estat possible, hem gravat un vídeo recitant uns poemes típics anglesos. Aquí el teniu. Esperem que us agradi!

Thriller

Last Monday, the girls and boys in 6th level organized a Halloween party for all the children in the school. The sang and danced ‘Thriller’ by Michael Jackson, and they prepared a small Terror Maze.
