El grup The Little ANTS, ens hem fet unes quantes preguntes, una d’elles ha estat: on viuen les formigues?

Tots sabem que les formigues viuen en formiguers o en colònies. Moltes d’elles fan els formiguers sota terra, i n’hi ha d’altres que els fan o en troncs, dins les tiges, sota les pedres…

La majoria de les formigues es troben entre els tròpics. Si aneu de viatge a l’Antàrtida o al pol nord segur que de formigues no en trobareu.

Les formigues viuen bé en llocs amb temperatures altes, per això en trobem tantes a Catalunya.

Una de les curiositats que ens hem trobat és que quan fa calor obren les entrades del formiguer, i quan fa fred les tanquen.

Avui en dia, però, les formigues s’han adaptat a quasi bé tot tipus d’habitat i es troben a tot arreu, menys a les regions polars.

We all know that ants live in nests or colonies. Many of them make the nests underground, and there are others who make or inside tree trunks, inside the stems under stones …

Most ants are found between the tropics. If you are going on a trip to Antarctica or the North Pole sure that ants do not find.

Ants live in places with high temperatures, which is why there’s so much in Catalonia.

One of the curiosities that we found is that when it’s hot open Ant entries, and when it’s cold the close.
